Business Climate for Forest Investments: A Survey – an overview of a large diversity of tools to assess investment climate, their applicability in the forest sector and main gaps, that offers a menu of options for further development to improve methodologies and investment climate for sustainable forest management and wood processing;
Private Forest Financing for Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Products in Developing Countries: Trends and Drivers – a review of available private forest sector financing data that provides a snapshot of different financing flows, improves our understanding of challenges related to forest financing, and presents a road map for better information and access to finance to promote sustainable forest management.
Opening Statements: Bill Rahill, ENR GP Director, World Bank GroupExperts from the field and from different sectors will join us to discuss key issues on how to advance sustainable private forest investments and financing. In the meeting we will hear from
