Miranti Zulkifli holds a Master's degree in environmental management from the Yale School of Environment (previously Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies) specializing in forest management. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in the forestry sector and climate change issues. Her career started when she worked for the Government of Indonesia, in which she assisted in policy making, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation for the forestry sector. After retiring from the government office in 2019, she has continued her career as an independent consultant for various international organizations focusing on forest governance, forest conservation, and climate issues. Her expertise covers developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development policies and plans, as well as managing budget efficiency, particularly for forestry and conservation. She is currently based in Jakarta. Her native language is Bahasa Indonesia, and she is also fluent in English.
