Remote Sensing Specialist, Resource Monitoring
Santosh Bhandari brings broad expertise in resource mapping and remote sensing to the team, backed by impressive credentials. His experience covers monitoring land use and land cover change at local and national scales, accuracy assessment and modelling the impacts of project-related deforestation. He is actively involved in projects employing remote sensing technologies for mapping and monitoring of forest resources in Oceania, Asia and South America. Santosh was awarded his PhD in Remote Sensing from the University of Queensland, Australia (2011), MSc in Geo-information Science from (ITC), the Netherlands (2003) and his BSc Forestry Science from the Tribhuvan University of Nepal (1994). He is fluent in Nepali, English and Hindi.
