Michael Owen joined Indufor North America in 2017 as an Intern. He contributes to research and analysis regarding forest and natural resource management. He has experience in environmental policy research in Latin America and climate change research in the Arctic. Prior to joining Indufor, he worked on the development of local sustainable agriculture in the DC area with Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture. More recently, he worked on recycling legislation and policy in Chile with Casa de La Paz.
He is pursuing a Bachelor’s in International Relations from American University. He speaks English and Spanish.
