Iris Dicke joined Indufor North America in 2017 as Research Analyst. She contributes to research and analysis regarding forest and natural resource investment and development opportunities. She has experience in researching the global food system and agriculture, specifically the cocoa value chain. Prior to joining Indufor, she managed solar energy projects in Washington, DC and Virginia. She also worked for an international development consultancy in India on improving the livelihood of smallholder farmers. Before that she worked as policy advisor for a political party in the Netherlands. She managed projects to turn Amsterdam into a sustainable and economically robust city. Iris holds a Master of Philosophy in Conservation Leadership from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Science in Environment and Resource Management from Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam, a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, both from the University of Amsterdam.
She speaks English, Dutch, and basic French and Spanish.
