Shirin Mavandad is an intern at Indufor North America. She supports an array of projects related to forest-based bioeconomy investments; land tenure; community conservation with land trusts; environmental and social standards and metrics; and scoping of marketing opportunities. Prior to joining Indufor, she worked on climate mitigation research focused on agricultural techniques, as well as interned at the University of California Road Ecology Center where she helped design and implement a new mountain lion wildlife crossing in Southern California. She was also a marketing and design intern at the Oakland Museum of California. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning from the University of California, Davis.
