Indufor Asia Pacific has recruited 10 highly capable consulting staff and will further expand its Auckland-based operations. Indufor and Indufor Asia Pacific together aim to become a leading provider of independent advisory services in the global forestry sector.
The Indufor Asia Pacific service offerings include:
- Forest resource assessments, especially those associated with vendor and buyer due diligence
- The application of remote sensing technology in resource assessment
- Forest valuation
- Forest products markets
- Forest product company valuations
- Forest land tenure mechanisms
- Forestry’s role in carbon sequestration.
Their expertise complements Indufor’s track record in forest industries development, land use planning, forest asset valuation, social risk management, rural development, environmental management, carbon trade, REDD and bioenergy. Indufor and Indufor Asia Pacific will share common values and operate under one company culture. Their work is driven by a wide range of public and private interests.
